We come every day, once or twice, depends on seasons.
At this time, it's low season and the reception hours are shorter.

Be careful, in July and August, the campsite is often full, please think about booking!

Shop and market
- The grocery is open every day, except on monday:
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday: 10.00-12.30, 4.30-7.30
Saturday 8.30-12.30, 4.30-7.30
Sunday 8.30-12.30
You will find some biologic bread there.
- The market: every friday and tuesday, 4 pm -7 pm
Restaurants
We have 5 restaurants in the village. Four of them are in the village, next to the campsite (Monsieur madame, le Café de la place, la Grange, les Skieurs). The last is up on the montain with a great view, you can reach it by e very small road (6 kms) or during an hiking round (le restaurant du Saint-Eynard).
There's also pizzas on wednesday, thursday, friday, saturday and sunday's evenings... We recommend! ;)
Touristic information
Next to the campsite, the Tourism office is open from wednesday to sunday.
They will help you to improve your holiday!

Activities
Chartreuse' Monastery
The Chartreux are very famous and legendary here. They used to live in our mountains since one thousand years, apart from the modern world, in absolute silence. They're also famous for the very strong green liqueur they make, called "Chartreuse" like our montains. You can visit the museum about their monastic lives at Saint-Pierre de Chartreuse, go for a small walk arround the monastery, and visit the museum of the liqueur "Chartreuse" in Voiron.
Grenoble
Grenoble is a 200.000 inhabitants city. With about 80.000 students, the atmosphear there is quite young and dynamic, lots of music, theater, and culture (the Musée de Grenoble has a very nice permanent collection of paintings).
Start by taking the cable-car to reach the "bastille" to get a panoramic view on the city...
You can get there by bus from the village.
Charmant Som
In summer, you can reach the alp of the "Charmant Som" by car. You will find there the cheese made there, a restaurant, and a wonderful landscape.
You can just stay there and enjoy, or, for the most sporty, from the parking you can reach the submit in 45 minutes hiking. From the submit, the view is panoramic and you can see the Montblanc and a big part of french Alps.
In winter, that's still a beautiful place for hiking and cross country skiing.
And, of course, lots of hiking trails...
Our village is surrounded by montains: the "Saint-Eynard", the "Ecoutoux", the "Pinéa", and the most beautiful one: "Chamechaude", which is the biggest mountain of Chartreuse. Its altitude is 2082 meters high. You can see all this montains from te campsite.
We will be happy to help you choose which hike is right for you! In any case, good hiking shoes are required.
